Dr. Veronica Savory McComb joined Bryant University as Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences from 2021-2025 She received her BA as a Senior Fellow in Film and Television Studies from Dartmouth College and her PhD in American Studies from Boston University. During her tenure, Dr. McComb led the College of Arts and Sciences through several strategic initiatives including the revision of the general education program, development and revitalization of undergraduate and graduate programs in the Arts, Communication, Mathematics, Politics and Law, and Economics. She has also the expanded curricular and co-curricular offerings in the arts and Political Sciences with forthcoming opportunities in Communication, Economics, and Mathematics. A passionate, human-centered and equity-minded leader, Dr. McComb strives to lead by example by exercising empathy, compassion, bravery, and humility in her daily life and leadership. Dr. McComb's current teaching interests include American cultural history, Africana Black Studies; immigration, race, and ethnicity; and media studies. Her current research addresses liberatory and authentic leadership, neurodiversity, and shared equity in higher education.
