Initially worked within the field of Public History at the Insurance Company of North America corporate museum and Elphreth’s Alley Association in Philadelphia, Charles River Museum of Industry in Waltham and Slater Mill Historic Site. Concurrently taught at Framingham State College, Northeastern University, Boston University, Boston College and University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth prior to coming to Bryant University as an adjunct professor. Have published several articles, book chapters and one book on early industrialization in RI and Massachusetts. I received the Samuel Eleazer and Rose Tartakow Levinson Prize from the Society for the History of Technology.
