Poojan Patel
Poojan Patel is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Bryant University. He earned his PhD in Business Administration with a Finance concentration from the University of Massachusetts Boston, his MS in Financial Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, and his MBA in Technology Management and BTech in Computer Engineering from SVKM's NMIMS University.
At Bryant, he teaches Financial Management and Data Analysis for Finance. His teaching bridges theory and practice, equipping students with both the conceptual foundations and the computational tools needed to navigate modern financial markets.
His research focuses on corporate disclosure and the economics of information, with a particular interest in how natural language processing and generative AI can be applied to understand how firms communicate risk.
