Dr. Zhai is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Economics at Bryant University. Prior to entering academia, she worked in actuarial consulting and insurance, specializing in solvency assessment, actuarial modeling, and product design. She is committed to advancing actuarial education, mentoring students, and conducting research that informs policy and industry practice in risk and insurance. Dr. Zhai also holds professional designations as an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
