Master of Science in Business Analytics
Our STEM-designated Master of Science in Business Analytics program prepares future business leaders with state-of-the-art analytics tools and techniques.
Now Enrolling for Fall 2023
In today’s business world, every organization is looking for a way to make their decision-making more effective. Business analytics utilizes a data-driven methodology, such as data modeling and statistics, to create insights.
In Bryant’s Master of Science in Business Analytics program, students learn the whole process of the data analytics lifecycle from business understanding, data preparation, data exploration, model building, and data visualization and communication. Students will learn to use advanced analytics to support organizational goals and strategies and tell compelling stories that impact business strategy.
The MSBA is a full-time, in-person cohort program comprised of eight required business analytics courses and a three-course specialization, or a generalist track that tailors electives to your personal and professional needs. The program culminates with a capstone project where students apply what they have learned to a project provided by our corporate partners and present their findings to the partners.
Upon graduation, students will be proficient programmers in Python, R, SQL/NoSQL, and data visualization software (Tableau and PowerBI). Students will also have experience with an evolving array of big data management tools like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Databricks.

An international applicant is defined as any person that requires a student visa to study in the United States. International applicants are eligible to apply to any graduate program, provided they have successfully completed the equivalent of a United States bachelor’s degree and have the appropriate diplomas and/or satisfactory results on transcripts or leaving examinations from the country in which the degree was earned. International applicants must complete all program-specific application requirements as well as all additional international application requirements outlined below.
Applicants that have completed a degree outside of the United States or Canada must have a course-by-course evaluation of their transcript(s) completed by an evaluation company approved by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). A list of approved organizations can be found at http://www.naces.org. The evaluation must be certified and in English, with individual grades and cumulative GPA converted to a 4.0 scale. If the evaluation includes a certified copy of the undergraduate transcript, an official transcript is not required to be separately sent by the institution. Submission of falsified documents is grounds for denial of admission or dismissal from the University.
All applicants whose primary language is not English (or for whom English is not one of their primary languages) are required to submit proof of satisfactory English proficiency. Exceptions will be made if the applicant completed an undergraduate or graduate degree at a regionally accredited institution within the U.S., or if the language of instruction for an earned undergraduate or graduate degree was entirely in English. At this time, the only acceptable forms of proof for English proficiency are the TOEFL, IELTS, and Duolingo English Test, with minimum score requirements listed below.
- TOEFL iBT: 85
- IELTS: 6.5
- Duolingo English Test: 105
An official score report must be sent directly from the examination organization to the Graduate Programs Office at Bryant University (TOEFL School Code: 3095).
Students can apply for government-sponsored and private education loans. U.S. citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). For information, please visit studentaid.gov. In addition, Bryant University accepts payments directly from a number of employers who have tuition assistance programs. In other cases, students may be eligible for reimbursement of educational expenses. For more information, contact the Graduate Programs Office, firstname.lastname@example.org or (401) 232-6230.
