Spiritual well-being encourages you to explore the beliefs, principles, and values that bring meaning to your life. It’s about living with intention, shaping a thoughtful perspective that helps you navigate and understand the world around you.
This dimension of well-being sparks a sense of purpose that guides your actions and decisions, leading to a feeling of belonging. It encompasses personal beliefs, values, and morals. For some, this might mean exploring religious practices, learning about diverse cultures, or studying philosophies. For others, it could involve meditative practices, connecting with nature, expressing gratitude, or engaging in thought-provoking discussions about life’s big questions.
At Bryant, we’re committed to providing our students with opportunities to explore their faith and spirituality. The Ronald K. and Kati C. Machtley Interfaith Center offers a welcoming space for students of all beliefs and hosts events that promote understanding and respect for different religious traditions. Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, and Protestant chaplains also serve as sources of support and spiritual development for the entire community.
The Office of Counseling Services offers a safe and confidential place for students to cope with changes and discuss personal challenges - completely free of charge.
At Bryant University we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive campus that emphasizes belonging, values different perspectives, and where all members of the community matter and can succeed.
