The Global Professional Languages minor empowers students to develop advanced language proficiency and intercultural communication skills tailored for global careers. It blends targeted coursework—such as advanced reading, writing, and profession-specific language classes—with cultural studies and experiential learning (e.g., internships, service, or study abroad), preparing students to effectively operate in multilingual professional environments.
Course selection depends on your score on the Language Placement Exam.
The Global Professional Languages minor offers studies in French, Italian, and Spanish.
