About This Program

Bryant’s psychology program provides you with a strong theoretical foundation in psychological principles while also emphasizing practical applications. You’ll learn how to investigate and apply concepts in different areas — such as clinical settings, neuroscience, sports, legal settings, education, and business — while also practicing ethical and social responsibility in a diverse world. Along with your courses, you’ll apply what you learn through fieldwork, internships, and research opportunities and develop an understanding of scientific inquiry and critical thinking.

Choose electives that match your interests and career goals, like The Design Thinking Process, Exercise and Sport Psychology, Gender in Childhood, or Positive Psychology. During your senior year, you’ll complete a Senior Research Seminar or Senior Internship Seminar as a capstone course. Your psychology education, combined with core business courses, will help prepare you for your future career.

As a psychology major, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with faculty on original research — something that’s typically reserved only for graduate students at many other colleges and universities. Work with a distinguished faculty expert on a directed study or your Senior Research Seminar to design and conduct research on a topic of your choosing. Stand out from the competition by presenting your research at academic conferences and publishing your findings in nationally recognized psychology journals. This critical experience will serve as a major differentiator as you apply to graduate school or begin your career after graduation.
