Family and Friends Weekend is a great opportunity to join your student on campus. Join us from Friday, Nov. 1, through Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019.

Pre-registration is closed. You may purchase tickets in the Fisher Student Center Friday from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

Friday, November 1st

4-8 p.m.
Family & Friends Weekend Check-In
(First floor, Fisher Student Center): Pick up your pre-ordered tickets, learn about the full schedule for the weekend, add more tickets (while supplies last), and buy your duck(s) for the 26th Annual Duck Race.

5 p.m.
Bryant Hillel Shabbat Service and Dinner
(Ronald K. and Kati C. Machtley Interfaith Center): Are you joining the Shabbat service and staying for dinner as a community? Please register through Banner.

6 p.m.
Kickoff for the Future Home for the Arts: Meet at 6 at the Bryant Pond; we’ll show you the way to the new Arts Space. We promise great music, delicious food, student artwork, artist-led activities, brainstorming activities, and some performing arts.

6 -7:30 p.m.
Dinner in Salmanson
with family and friends (Salmanson Dining Hall, Unistructure): Enjoy a meal at their favorite dining hall.  $8.75 adults/Bryant students without a meal plan; $5 children (5-12)

6:45 p.m.
Fireworks (Beirne Stadium): Enjoy a brilliant fireworks display with the whole family. (Rain date: Saturday, Nov. 2 at 6:30 p.m.)

7:30 p.m.
Student Talent Showcase
(Janikies Theatre, Unistructure): Our performing arts student organizations are proud to present a talent showcase for friends and family, as well as Bryant University students. Last year was a sold-out performance; be sure to get your tickets early!  $5 adults; free for Bryant students and children (5-12)

Saturday, November 2nd

President’s List and Dean’s List Reception
(MAC, Chace Wellness Center): Hosted by the Division of Academic Affairs – by invitation only.  Questions for this reception can be directed to (401) 531-6615.

11 a.m.
State of the University Address 
(Janikies Theatre, Unistructure): Presented by President Ronald K. Machtley with an opening performance by Bryant's a cappella group, The Bottom Line.

10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Harvest Market
(Rotunda, Unistructure): Check out the goods from local farmers, crafters, and vendors – We Be Jammin (delicious jellies and jams), Bittersweet Farm (soaps, lotions, scrubs, and more), Carrie’s Creations (handmade glass beaded flowers), Pure Haven (organic home care products), and so much more.

11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
Family & Friends Festival Lunch
(Large tent at Beirne Stadium): Enjoy a delicious BBQ-style lunch before attending the football game. Be sure to select your first and second choice of time slots. Ticket price includes lunch plus admission to our football game vs. Sacred Heart University. Some time slots sell out, so be sure to order your tickets early! (Luncheon menu includes corn chowder, autumn salad, BBQ pulled pork, cole slaw, bratwurst with sauerkraut, mac and cheese, vegetarian baked beans, veggie burgers, gluten-free bread options, dessert) $26 adults; $16 Bryant students; $7 children (5-12)


Bryant Tackles Hunger (Beirne Stadium): Bring non-perishable food items to the football game to be entered to win a VISA gift card.

(Pond): Be sure to buy your ducks in the Fisher Student Center Friday and Saturday. Prizes given to the race winners. Proceeds support Senior Week events run by the Senior Class Committee

“Shamilton! The Improvised Parody Musical”
(MAC, Chace Wellness Center): Join us for a night of laughs as “Shamilton!” asks the audience for a celebrity name at the start of the show and improvises a musical about that celebrity on the spot. Expect brilliant hip-hop, hilarious characters, incredible songs, stunning “choreography” and powerhouse singing created in front of your eyes! “Shamilton!” performs at Upright Citizens Brigade Los Angeles, where the show has sold out every performance. Be sure to secure your seat for this night of hilarity before it sells out at Bryant, too! $18 adults; $5 Bryant students

Run for Hope 5K (Sponsored by the Physician Assistant Program)
(Bulldog Strength and Conditioning Center): You won’t want to miss this family-friendly walk/run – who’s the fastest family? This year marks the 2nd Annual Run for Hope 5K, an event sponsored by the Bryant PA Program to raise money for Clinica Esperanza (CEHC), established in 2007 in the Olneyville section of Providence. CEHC’s goal is to provide free, high-quality, linguistically and culturally appropriate healthcare to uninsured Rhode Islanders. CEHC has enacted a number of services to provide free healthcare to these patients, including a walk-in clinic, an educational program that focuses on healthy eating and wellness, and a diabetes clinic run entirely by Bryant PA students and alumni (Bib pick-up and check-in begins at 8:15 a.m. at the Bulldog Strength and Conditioning Center) $25 adults (September early-bird special)/$30 adults (Oct. 1-Nov. 3); $20 Bryant students (with Bryant ID) First 100 to register receive a T-shirt!
