Consistent with these values and applicable law, including Tile IX, the Clery Act and the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013, the University maintains a comprehensive program designed to protect members of the University community from discrimination on the basis of sex or gender, which includes sexual misconduct such as sexual harassment and sexual assault, stalking and intimate partner violence.
Bryant University is committed to providing a working and learning environment which supports respect for the individual and for academic freedom, where all members of the community can work and learn in an atmosphere that is free from sexual discrimination, harassment, violence, power-based personal violence, and other forms of sexual misconduct .
The University’s policy on sexual misconduct and title IX procedures are part of its broader prohibition against harassment or other discrimination on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, transgender status, gender transition, religion, disability, age, genetic information, marital status, or protected veteran status. This commitment to non-discrimination applies to admissions, financial aid, academic matters, career services, counseling, housing, employment policies, scholarship programs, medical services, and all other programs and activities available at Bryant.
The aforementioned policy and procedures applies to all members of the Bryant community, including students, faculty, staff, and trustees, as well as all vendors, contractors and third parties who provide services to Bryant or visit Bryant facilities.
